Mandates have changed but our service is still available for whānau.
As of August 15th 2023, the previous COVID-19 requirements for 7-day isolation periods and the wearing of masks when visiting healthcare facilities have now been removed.
If you have tested positive we can provide you and your whānau with essential items and tests for this period.

Manaaki Kapiti provides services to support COVID positive whānau isolating, these include:
Kai hub, a service that provides kai and hygiene packs, delivered to households by our kaimanaaki
Kaimanaaki service, a mobile team dedicated to supporting whānau needs while isolating – this includes prescription pickups, Oximetre drop offs, click and collect deliveries and more.
Call centre: often your first point of contact, this friendly team look after your requests and provide a check-in phone call during your isolation period
Hauora service, a team of clinicians available to assess your health and monitor your wellbeing during your isolation period.
Community Connectors, a service available to whānau who are impacted by COVID – supporting whānau to access government entitlements and a wide range of support
Community Vaccinators, a team of medical practitioners available to provide a range of immunisations and COVID vaccinations, call us to find out more. 0800 888 683

As you might be aware: our clinic at 92 Kapiti Road is now closed, but you will find us at the Marae every Tuesday in the wharekai alongside Hora Te Pai Health Services, including their nurse. Jayne the dietitian and Phil the physio are also waiting to give you advice!
